Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Scope (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Scope ApS, a Danish private limited company.
2. Description of Service
Scope provides a cloud-based analytics and monitoring platform for Minecraft server operators, including data ingestion via a plugin, a web dashboard, AI-powered recommendations, and optional Discord alert integrations.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at security@scopemc.net.
4. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. All prices are shown exclusive of VAT. Danish customers are charged 25% VAT (moms) in accordance with Danish Tax Law (Momslovens § 4). EU business customers with a valid VAT ID may apply reverse charge. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your card details. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
5. Data & Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We act as data controller for account data, and as data processor for analytics data you collect about your players. As a data controller collecting player data, you are responsible for maintaining a lawful basis for that processing and informing your players accordingly.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent security measures
- Use automated means to scrape, overload, or attack our infrastructure
- Resell or sublicence the Service without our written consent
- Ingest data from servers you do not own or operate
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, its UI, and its source code are owned by Scope ApS. The Scope plugin source code is provided under the MIT licence. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over analytics data you ingest.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform maintenance with reasonable notice. Enterprise plan customers are subject to a separate SLA.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Danish law, Scope ApS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, during which time you may export it. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute shall be resolved by the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence apply.
